 Origin of Yoga and History

 When there was nothing in the universe, only exists a deep darkness, then a sound produce - 'OM'. 'Om' came with divine light and sound. It is assumed that the sound of 'OM' created Veda, Sub-veda, and Upveda.

 The oldest veda is rigveda. In this veda, first time described the yoga and its power. We find various type of yoga in this scripture like Gyan yoga, Bhakti yoga, Kam Yoga, Haatha yoga, Raj yoga, Mantra Yoga, Shiva yoga, Nand yoga, Lay yoga etc.

 Rigveda is about 8 to 10 ten thousands years old scripture of Sanatan. About 5 Thousand years ago, A saint named Patanjali wrote a book ' Yoga Sutra of Patanjali' . In this work he wrote 195 Sanskrit sutras on the theory and practice of yoga.

How Can Yoga Change Your Lifestyle

The Lord Krishna also spoke the importance of yoga. He told that yoga can purify your mind and thought. As we purify our body from shower of water as similarly we can purify our mind by the practice of yoga.

He told that by the practice of yoga can control the senses of human body. Krishna Says in Bhagavad Gita, that senses are controlled by mind, and mind is controlled by intellect. He further states that the intellect is subject to the soul.

Through practice of yoga, you can control your mind and intellect.While practicing like this. The person who takes control over the mind and intellect. He is actually a yogi.
 
A yogi means not a person who wears an orange dress like a saint. No need he looks like Baba Ramdev, Shri Shri Ravishankar and other men who known for yoga. He may be a simple person.
 
Yoga means unity of body mind and your soul. It connects human being's words to his deeds. Yoga is a skill of expression. It is not only a exercise. It is a complete lifestyle which make our life divine.

Yoga has the power to change us internally and outwardly. When we do yoga we control our breath and later then we take a second step and control our mind. When we get to success in controlling our mind, We control our senses. To control senses is a big achievement for a human being.  


Who has control of senses, do everything in this world. He can achieve which he wants from his life.Through yoga, one can get complete fitness of the body. One can achieve the complete tranquillity of mind
